Junior Academy Student’s success

Congratulations to one of our Junior members, Casey, who has recently taken part in the EASB National Championship qualifiers held at Leeds Northern Snooker Centre on November 10th. Casey actually won all his matches, ensuring that he now qualifies for the last 16 of the National Finals to be held next year on May 25 at the Northern Snooker Centre. This is a tremendous achievement considering that Casey is 11 and is playing against other players up to 3 years older than him. He is the youngest player to qualify this season for the finals and was only one of five players that scored a break over 30.

As a reward Casey was taken by his family  to meet Ronnie O’Sullivan in Halifax at “A sporting life story with Ronnie O’Sullivan” at the Victoria Theatre
